The door was always open to friends and family to come and enjoy. We will all miss you Big Smoke. Smoke circles in the sky.

Yes, the door was always open....as were the arms of Smokey Davis.
I feel very privileged to have been included in the circle of friends that Jane and Smokey shared. I remember well that red screen door.....
I have many fond memories of the good times and great food (Smoke was a fabulous cook)that I enjoyed at Jane and Smokey's cabin.I always looked forward to my visits because I knew I would leave their home with a warm heart and full stomach. Smokey wouldn't have it any other way.
Jane is my best friend and I will always be grateful to her for allowing me to share in the love, warmth and friendship that Smokey brought to both our lives.
