Hard to believe Big Smoke has been dead a year on Wednesday. Not a day goes by that I do not
of Smokey. I miss him everyday.
Alot has happened in that year. We have a new baby girl, Kallie Suzanne. Kennedy Jane has gotten to be a big girl. She knows that Big Smoke lives with Jesus.

Smokey Davis has a book dedicated to him. Jill Conner Brown dedicated her latest Sweet Potato Queen Book to Smokey. I am so proud. If you have not read her books, you have missed a real treat. Get the newest one American Thighs. You will laugh, I guarantee. And besides that it is dedicated to Smokey.

Several quotes are in other books, but American Thighs is dedicated to him. He would have loved that.
